On April 1, 2022, SCL Health merged with Intermountain Healthcare. We’ve created one organization from two of the country’s leading nonprofit health systems. Most importantly, we’re building a model for the future of healthcare, focused on keeping patients healthy before they get sick and providing them even more high-quality, affordable, and accessible care.
As you start to see our new name and logo in the coming months, we want to reassure you that many things will stay the same in how you currently receive care and services from us. The great quality care you receive at our SCL Health hospitals and clinics will stay the same, and how you access and utilize our services will not change. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible. Learn more about Intermountain Healthcare.
We’re happy to tell you about us: our compassionate caregivers, our clinical excellence, our award-winning care and even our beautiful facilities and campuses. But when you trust us with your health, it’s really all about you. Our patients and families are the center of our thoughts, communications and actions.
SCL Health is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to improving the health of the people and communities we serve, especially those who are poor and vulnerable. Founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1864, our $2.8 billion health network provides comprehensive, coordinated care through eight hospitals, more than 150 physician clinics, and home health, hospice, mental health and safety-net services primarily in Colorado and Montana. We relentlessly focus on delivering safe, high-quality, effective care to every patient, every time, everywhere. In 2019, SCL Health invested $255 million in community benefit—9 cents of every dollar we earn—to support health improvement in our communities.
